Bio and Experience

Shir Amram is the Chief Operating Officer of Montana Capital Car Title Loans®. She helps borrowers across California and beyond not only access funds when they need them but also understand how title loans work and make informed decisions. With more than 12 years of experience in consumer lending operations, Shir combines hands-on industry knowledge with a genuine commitment to borrower education and protection.

Her leadership spans the full lending lifecycle. Shir has personally overseen thousands of loan transactions, managed compliance with state and federal lending regulations, and developed internal processes that prioritize transparency and borrower protection. This depth of operational experience means she understands not just how title loans work on paper, but how they affect real people’s lives.

In her work, she focuses on transparent terms, regulatory compliance, and financial education, especially for those who face unexpected expenses and may not qualify for traditional bank loans. Her background in economics helps guide responsible lending practices and clear communication with customers.

Outside of Montana Capital, Shir volunteers as an independent financial consultant, advising individuals and small businesses on loan options, credit health, and financial planning. This pro bono work is her way of giving back to the community, helping people navigate lending decisions without any sales agenda.

Shir Amram:

"Nobody wants to need a title loan. By the time someone calls us, they've usually tried everything else. After 12 years in title lending and thousands of loans, I know what to focus on: how do we structure this so you're in a better position 90+ days from now, not a worse one? That means making sure you understand exactly what you're agreeing to, what it costs, and how to pay it off as fast as possible. No surprises."
